Private self-check · about 4 minutes
Ergonomic Risk Check
Checks how your work set-up and habits at a desk, a counter or till, or behind the wheel are loading your neck, back, wrists and legs, and shows the changes most likely to help.
First choose where you spend most of your working day: at a desk, at a counter, till or workbench, or driving. Then answer for a normal shift. Private. Your employer never sees your answers. This is a self-check, not a diagnosis, and you can stop anytime.
Private: your answers stay on this device and are not saved. You can stop at any time.
Where do you spend most of your working day?
I stay in the same position for more than an hour without a break.
My screen, till or work surface is too low or too high, so I bend my neck or lift my shoulders.
My feet do not rest flat (on the floor, a footrest or pedals) or I stand on a hard floor all shift.
My lower back is not supported by my chair or seat.
I reach far, twist or lift awkwardly (boxes, stock, loading, reaching for the gear lever or a laptop).
I work on a laptop or phone for long periods without a separate keyboard or stand.
I drive or sit for more than 2 hours at a time without getting out and moving.
By the end of the shift I have stiffness or pain in my neck, shoulders, back, wrists or legs.
My eyes feel strained, or I get headaches after screen or driving work.
I have numbness, tingling or weakness in my hands or arms that does not go away after rest.
I have felt very drowsy or nodded off while driving for work.
